Matana sat cross-legged one the bed frowning. Her bag lay open across her lap as she thought about what to take with her and what to leave be hind. She picked up the small knife that she had taken from a knife stand… when she had first left her parents. I think I’ll need this whether or not I go with him. She was still undecided weather or not it was smart to leave Egypt.
There were many things to consider; One being could she trust this Yugi person. She had only met him yesterday and matana was still upset about that. He seemed to genuinely want to help her. He had spent the better part of yesterday trying to convince her of just that. Some people are just crazy like that; Matana shook her head at that thought.
Another reason to hesitate was her secret. The hidden god card, she knew she was the only one with full information about it. All any one else knew is that it exists. Matana was sworn never ever to tell any one or lead any one to where it was hidden. Not yet. It was to stay hidden until the right time; when the ghost came back.
Matana knew she needed to make her way to the ruins on the outskirts of Cairo and quietly. Primarily to make tabs on what was going on over there, but it was a good hiding place too. That where she planned to stash the things she didn’t need to carry around.
another problem is yugi said to leave a note and she could neither read nor write one.

Yugi was already having quite a weird time. Just yesterday he met the same pickpocket he had met on his last trip to Egypt. She turned out to be a nice young girl after all, although she still seemed a bit wary of him. He figured it would take a while for her to trust him completely, if she ever did. Eventually she came back to the hotel with him, but it seemed that she might try to leave at any moment. At least he had succeeded in warning her about Marik. The rest was up to her.
It was even stranger today though. He had managed to explain to Grandpa why he had a young girl in their hotel room, but he couldn't tell anyone else about it. That made it weird when he went out to buy some clothes for her. He eventually managed to say that it was for his little sister, but he wasn't a very good liar and the guy that sold them to him gave him a weird look as he left.
Yugi opened the door of his hotel room to find Matana with her bag open on her lap, putting things inside. "So does this mean you've decided what you're going to do?" Yugi asked.

Matana jumped when she heard yugi enter and looked up quickly when he spoke.she startled easly and had been lost in thougt.matana smiled and slipped off the bed closing her bag tightly. She nodded to his question and said matter-of-factly.
”well, yes and no. I have decided that I will go with you, but not yet. I have things that I need to take care of. First and for most being what to do with my things; I can’t just leave them here and expect them to be here when I return.” Matana motioned to the bag. She smiled as thought occurred to her “but perhaps you knew that all ready. Also there is the matter of my knife to deal with. Will they let me keep it?” She waved to him laughing quietly to herself.
“How did the shopping trip go?” matana hoped to change the subject in order to keep him or them from asking about her other errands. She didn’t think it would work but she had to try.

Yugi could feel that Matana was hiding something from him with her last question. But, as he was the one that didn't want her to run away, he respected her privacy on the matter. "Well, you can take your stuff with you, if you want. The only problem would be the knife, which wouldn't be allowed on the plane. If you really want to keep it, we could probably convince them that it has sentimental value to you so that they would send it ahead and you could pick it up when we arrive back home in Japan. Smart that you thought of it." Yugi finished with a smile.
He gave Matana the few pairs of clothes that he had just come back in from buying. "These should last you for a while. You can change in the bathroom. And... I don't want to push you to tell me more than you are comfortable with, but are you sure you don't want me to come with you on your errands? They may be sort of private stuff, but going out alone could be dangerous."
