Basics
Character's Full Name: Lilianna Sachina aka Tsuchikawa Rairi
Nicknames: Lily
Character Gender: Female
Character's Age: 19
Birthdate: May 2
Employment: Waitress at Chianti
Deck?: Lily/Rairi uses a dragon focused deck with a few other monsters to balance it out. She relies on the Lord of Dragon and Flute of Summoning Dragon combo.
Appearance:
Rairi is quite pale. Her skin tone is a light cream colour and she doesn't tan easily. However, she wouldn't spend enough time in the sun to tan anyway. She stands tall and proud, her head balanced nicely on her neck and slightly upturned as if to say "I'm better than you". Her limbs are long and graceful and her chest is overly developed for her age, although her muscles are small and undeveloped.
When she was Lily, her hair was short, hanging to just below her ears, and flipped outwards. It was an ocre shade back then, with cream highlights. However, now that she resides in Japan, she has taken action to attempt to blend in, and thus has dyed her hair a russet colour and has grown it out in the 5 years she has spent in Japan. It now hangs to her shoulders, with long bangs. She makes no attempt to style her hair; she just allows it to hang loose. Her hair is very thick now, but lots of brushing every day keeps it sleek and shiny.
Underneath thin, slightly sloping eyebrows, Rairi's myrtle coloured eyes peer out from narrow eyelids. Her eyelashes are long and always have mascara on. Just beneath her eyes, her noticably plump nose is adorned with several freckles. Her lips are full and a healthy shade of red. Although she will apply a bit of blush and her trademark mascara, Rairi does not use any other make-up.
One can most commonly see Rairi in her waitress uniform, which consists of an off white dress with a touch of pink in the white adorned with purple flowers. It splits at the hips, hanging down her front and rear. The lining of this dress is pink, and on each side of her hips, at the split, there is a pink bow. The same bow is seen at her neck, holding together the neckline of the dress, leaving a hole that displays her cleavage. Along with this dress, she wears pink sandals and an indigo band around her upper left thigh that holds her order memo pad. For an example of a girl wearing this uniform, click here
Another common outfit of Rairi's is her casual clothes, which consist of long blue jeans with a white belt and a pale yellow tank top that goes down to the bottom of her ribcage. This tank top has a red floral design on the bottom of it and red embroidered lining along the top and red straps.
Finally, if Rairi is out in public, she wears the same blue jeans and belt. Instead of the tank top, however, she wears a t-shirt with the same colouring and design on it. She also wears a deep sienna coat if it is cold that is devoid of any special features save for a thick faux fur lining.
History:
Lilianna Sachina was born on the island of Sicily belonging to Italy to a wealthy business owner and his wife. The first few years of her life were spent in luxury, getting whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted.
One day, at the age of 8, Lily noticed a boy about her age playing duel monsters with a friend at her school. She wanted to try it, so she begged her parents for cards. They obliged, and bought her enough cards for a basic deck. She wasn't a very good duelist at that age, as she was only learning, but she enjoyed it a lot.
The year Lily turned 12, her father was targeted by the Mafia as he had offended one of their higher ranking members. He was killed, and Lily was taken along with her brother, two years her senior, into hiding to protect them. However, Lily never accepted the fact that her father was killed and made a foolish vow to avenge him. The next year, Lily left the place she and her brother were hiding at and went to find the Mafia boss. She managed to, and spoke harsh words to the man. The Mafia boss found her amusing, and decided not to kill her, but rather to keep her as a mistress for his unmarried consigliere (right hand man). Lily tried to fight against this, but was unsuccessful. The consigliere, however, did not enjoy that a 13 year old girl was given to him, so he allowed her to leave after a week. He would take the consequences. Lily never forgot the man and how kind he was to her.
After this, Lily had to be even more careful, now that the Mafia was sure to be after her. But she had another problem to deal with. The water level in the Mediterranean Sea was rising, and Sicily was starting to have weekly floods. Another year passed, and Lily's brother found her. After a hearty reunion, they both agreed that they would have to leave the country. With the help of their mother, who was also in hiding, the brother and sister were smuggled out of Italy and went to Japan, where they changed their names and blended in with the locals.
During her time in Japan, Lily, or Rairi as she was then called, began to collect the strongest dragon cards she could find to build a duel monsters deck. Her sole goal was to forget what happened in Italy, but she didn't succeed. There wasn't a day that went by without Rairi missing her parents. She began to play duel monsters even more to the point that she was obsessed with the game. She hardly cared about anything else but gathering her cards and playing the game. She shares a special connection with her Petite Dragon card, as it was the first card she ever looked at. Although she doesn't use her original Petite Dragon card in duels anymore, she found a second one to use.
At the age of 18, Rairi came across a restaurant by the name of Chianto that served mostly Italian foods. She had never adjusted to Japanese food, so she started to eat there on a weekly on a weekly basis. However, she soon noticed that her finances were running low, and she had to get a job. So she applied at Chianto and got the job. Her life was finally going good.
Although she still fears the Mafia, Rairi finally feels that her life is stable again.
Personality:
While not to be confused with a Yami, Rairi has two distinct personalities. Her first persona is that of Rairi, cool and calm... or so most people think. She has severe demophobia, but is able to withstand it while on the job.
Rairi has a strong attitude when annoyed

Extras
Abilities: Talking her way out of situations, blending into the background
Extra: A note on her name change:
Lilianna's nickname, Lily, is the romanization of that name. If you wrote it in Japanese, it would be pronounced Riri. Now, this doesn't sound very nice, so she added the 'a' in there to create the name, Rairi.
Roleplay Sample: (I hope you don't mind that it's a different character)
The day was nice, and little Murya was out in an abandoned field, trying to focus on forming her Quincy bow. Her eyes were shut tight and her lips were firmly in a line as sweat rolled down her forehead. But all of this was to no avail. Murya still could not form the namesake bow of her people.
"Why? Why can't I do it?" she whined, flopping down on the grass in exhaustion. Lying on her back and staring up at the clouds, she sniffed a little. Although her guardian was waiting back at home for her, he wasn't a Quincy, and thus could not help her. Murya hiccuped once, and the tears started to flow. Rolling onto her stomach, she started to kick the ground with her shoes and pound at the ground with tight fists in a small temper tantrum. She didn't care that her shoes were new. All she cared about was forming her bow. And it seemed that that wouldn't be possible today.
Once she finished her tantrum, she sat up and looked down at the stains on her dress, hiccupping. Grimacing, she realized that she would have to wash it when she got home.
