Nicknames: Exterminator
Character Gender: Male
Character's Age: 18
Birthdate: August 8
Employment: Rare Hunter
Deck?: Quick Win Deck
Appearance:
Physically, Exterminator doesn't fit his nickname. He isn't a tough-looking bodybuilder with rippling muscles and extreme height. In fact, he is quite the opposite. Exterminator looks very thin and meek in comparison to the rest of the Rare Hunters. But, he is pretty tall which gives him more of a look like a beanstalk. A white beanstalk, that is. He has fair skin and medium length white hair that barely reaches the bottom of the back of his neck, but also surpasses the chin on his front side. He also has blue eyes that can be deceivingly gentle and helps him to pass off as a normal and nice kid.
As for his clothes, he does not follow the normal Rare Hunter attire. Though most of them wear black hooded robes, Exterminator is one of the few that doesn't. The reason why he doesn't wear them is explained in the History section. He wears black pants and a light purple shirt that make him look somewhat businesslike. But he folds his sleeves and wears his black tie loosely so that he looks a lot more casual. Still though, his gold watch and glasses do give the impression of a serious businessman. He usually holds a book and will sometimes read it in the middle of a duel to demean his opponent and make them lose their temper. Also, it will make them have even lower self-esteem when he beats them without breaking a sweat.

History:
Exterminator was born to two somewhat idiotic parents about 18 years ago. It's not that they didn't show him affection or anything like that, but he couldn't stand how they were. Even though they were adults, they behaved like children (at least, that's what Exterminator thought by the time he was 7). They simply loved to duel each other in the game of Duel Monsters. However, they were both horrible duelists and didn't even have good cards. That meant that even though Exterminator was very smart at an early age and did learn to enjoy Duel Monsters, he never got proper training.
Still, from simply reading the rulebook, Exterminator had enough skill at the age of 6 to defeat both of his parents at the same time, even when they each started out with double his life points and he used some of the worst cards that they had. It was clear to him that they would never be able to help him become a better duelist and it angered him. He thought maybe he could learn some things from the kids at school, but they only made fun of him and defeated him with ease. He had a horrible deck, no training, and he was smart. These three things caused all of the other kids to despise him and in return, he despised them. But even so, he did learn from his defeats. He knew that he would never be able to beat them with his horrible cards, but due to his intelligence he was picking up how to avoid mistakes that even older and more experienced duelists continued to make.
Soon, even with this deck, he was able to win a few duels. However, he was still nowhere near good enough with that deck to beat the rich kids that had whatever cards they wanted. He had to do something to get better cards and he knew his parents wouldn't be helpful on that front either since they always said that those cards were enough and he should be happy with them. It always angered him so. His parents were too weak and even the kids that defeated him were weak compared to those outside of the school, but they knew that and took that frustration out on him by beating him over and over. Exterminator secretly made a vow to himself on that day that he would one day be a great duelist with good cards and he would crush all of the weak duelists he could find.
One day, he heard other kids talking about a certain teacher at their school. They wouldn't talk to him, but Exterminator always found a way to listen in. They said that the teacher collected powerful Duel Monsters cards but never even used them. It was rumored that he even had the really rare Exodia cards. Exterminator had never heard of them before, but when he went home and looked them up, he found out all about how incredible they were. Only 5 cards and he could defeat any monster and win the whole duel. All it would take was 5 cards. He had to have them. Soon, he found out that the teacher would be moving to another city. It sounded too good to be true. He would pack all of his boxes, spend one last night in his house, and then leave the following morning. On the last night that the teacher was to be there, Exterminator took that opportunity and broke into his house. He stole a bunch of his cards, including the Exodia cards, and then taped the box back up so it looked like it had not been opened. The next day, the teacher moved away and Exterminator was in the clear.
Since then, he easily defeated everyone he dueled against in his school, keeping how he got his cards a secret. He took a lot of pleasure in defeating weak duelists and crushing them. Eventually, when he turned 18, he heard of the Rare Hunters. He took off from his parents with some money, some things of his, and his deck and tried to find them so he could join them. Using his intelligence, he eventually found them and gained acceptance. After that, he was given the nickname, Exterminator, and he did what all Rare Hunters did. He scoured the world for rare cards that he could take and made his deck better and better. Now, he has come with the rest of them to Battle City. His leader, Marik, is set to arrive and take it by storm. He, however, is also planning to get into the Finals. If it comes down to it, he is even willing to take on Marik. But his main goal here is to take down as many weak duelists as he can while still taking on the strong ones like Seto Kaiba.
However, he does not look like most Rare Hunters. In fact, he has been told by Marik to go in undercover as a normal duelist. This actually works to his goals and he can't wait to get on with it. He and others like him who were told to act as normal duelists were told not to reveal themselves as Rare Hunters to their opponent, unless it is Yugi Mutou or Seto Kaiba. To everyone else, they are just to be good duelists.
Personality:
Exterminator has two personalities. One is the one that he shows to everybody since he joined the Rare Hunters and that he will be using in Battle City. The other is his true personality that he hides within himself to further his own goals. The side of him that he shows is gentle and smart. He seems to like reading and making friends and things like that. He appears to be normal, albeit smart. With this side, he makes people think he wants a friendly duel with them and lulls them into a false sense of security. He plans to continue this charade for as long as he can and to only reveal his true self when all of the weak duelists are taken care of or when he is facing Seto Kaiba, who seems to somewhat share his hate of weak duelists.
His true personality however is much more dark and full of hate. This side may come out occasionally within duels if his opponent is weak and makes foolish moves. That would seem good to someone else because it would mean an easy win, but to Exterminator it ticks him off when anyone is weak like that. This may cause him to burst out briefly and yell at the opponent, but he will calm himself down and return to his kind persona. However, he feels he will not have to put up an act against Seto Kaiba. Kaiba will most probably not make any of those foolish mistakes and he will be a truly fun duel, something that Exterminator has not had for a long long long time.

Roleplay Sample:
Yugi's words were caught in his throat when Tea turned to him. He had seen her move her hand to her face a moment ago, but thought it couldn't have been because she was crying. But then, when she turned around, her face held a fake smile. Yugi had known Tea long enough to know when she was telling the truth and when she was lying, even if she wasn't speaking. She was truly upset and maybe even jealous after seeing Yugi comforting Seluna. His heart began to beat faster and faster still when he noticed that his hand was still on her arm and he could feel her warmth. She said something about understanding, but Yugi wasn't able to make much of it out.
He kept his hand on her arm as he locked his eyes with hers. Her eyes told him all that he needed to know for that brief moment before she broke his gaze. "Tea... I... I..." Yugi said softly. He could not find the right words at this moment and he thought he would lose her now, just because he was too much of a fool to tell her how he really felt.
Fortunately, it was at that moment that Seluna stepped forward and explained the situation. Yugi was too depressed to listen from the beginning, but a few words caught his attention and he realized that she was helping him explain it to Tea. When she finished, he was almost yelling, "Yes! Tea, she's telling the truth. It was nothing like you think it was. You should know that I would never do anything that would hurt you like that. I...
It was then that he realized the full impact of what Seluna was saying about him and what he was saying to Tea. Yugi could feel his cheeks grow red as he looked straight down at the ground, waiting for Tea's response. He didn't think about it, but his hand still rested gently on her arm.
