Okay, before I start, I'm gonna warn you, this is a long one.
Okay, why can't people realize that even the slightest comment can be taken in a bad light? In particular, sexist comments.
So I'm on a Bleach rp site, and I read in the c-box that someone made comments somewhat along the lines of: (by the way, if you watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, this is a slight spoiler for the finale)
That's pretty much what he said. So a couple of members commented on the fact that that was a sexist remark, and the guy had the nerve to deny it! He said that since Azula was a cartoon character, it didn't matter. It wasn't directed towards women in general, just Azula. THEN, he proceeded to say that until he got the point of view of a girl, he would stay adamant.
HELLO! I'm a girl, another female member commented that it was offensive! My MOTHER even read what he said and said it was sexist. MY LITTLE SISTER AGREES WITH ME! Girls on other sites agree! I mean, COME ON! Is that enough female response for you? Apparently, not. He still was convinced that he did nothing wrong.
However, myself and a couple of other members tried to tell him that people could take that type of comment to be a sexist remark based on their opinions. That's what we tried to tell him. That in our opinion, it was sexist. He still wouldn't listen. At that point, we agreed that the c-box wasn't a good place to discuss this, so we decided to take it to pms. So I promptly pm'ed the admin with my complaints on this member.
Guess what? All the admin did was remove the c-box. No mentions of the offending member, no actions taken. The guy is still an active member, and I AM PISSED! As a woman myself, what that guy said was HIGHLY offensive to me, and I can't believe that the admin would take it so lightly.
DAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMNDAMN DAMNIT!
So, now I'm debating leaving an rp site I was excited to join. If the admin is going to allow such members to remain unpunished, then why should I stay? It isn't a safe environment anymore.
So yeah. Thanks for reading my angry rant.

Azula must have been on her period during the finale, she was so crazy. Every time I saw her, I was like "someone get this b**** a tampon"
